Changing Shade into Colour and Light traverses many styles and moods, creating multi-layered soundscapes, a world away from experimental noise - each track appears to tell a story, and most of all it's listenable as a piece of music. All based around guitar work, the driving force in each song, providing most of the highlights: the funky blues of the short F is for Fox, the pop ballad-like Changing Shade, and the country/folk intro to the closing track Absent Friends, display proficiency and a huge array of influences.
